I don't think that's what they meant at all. The way I interpreted it is that projects that blanket ban AI/LLM usage will become less relevant... not because the robot overlords will take over software development, but because the use of AI as a tool has legitimate and sometimes profound usefulness... and if they can't be utilized on a certain platform, people will just go elsewhere.
