Would you qualify this as buying votes? Is it even legal?
- Jtsummers 25d agoHe can't promise money since Congress hasn't approved it, and this would be north of $1 trillion so I guess he's looking to set more record deficits.
- iririririr 25d agosee. this is why he gets away with it. people are so exhausted that he literary offer money for votes, and the few that even pay attention goes "is this obviously cartoon criminal crime even legal?"
- dabinat 25d agoIf it is illegal, I don’t know who will actually enforce the law. Certainly not the DOJ and most likely not the Supreme Court either. But it’s an empty promise anyway. Once they’ve got what they want they’re not going to pay out.
