Imagine defending a corporation because they were "different" because they were here to deliver "safe" and "responsible" AI and are the "good guys".
It turns out that Anthropic (and OpenAI) are no different to Palantir or are just Palantir-lite and both have government contracts, their AI tech was used in wars and now they are used for surveillance.

- verdverm 1mo agoThis is one of the core reasons I am unwilling to use their closed Ai. Have we forgotten the last two decades of SV darlings to demons? Are we doomed to repeat the same mistakes?
