I can't help but see the irony in the fact that the Rails community is slowly moving back to app directories similar to those we found in Java's Spring and others. I guess people from the Enterprise world had a point.
- alisnic 14y agoThere was a quote in Ruby Rogues podcast which said that "Ruby people use factories a lot, they just don't call them like that"
- mattgreenrocks 14y agoNo language or framework can contain complexity. The best we can do is to prevent needless complexity from emerging.
- ryeguy 14y agoI have been saying this for so long. Now we just have to wait for the Ruby community to understand why people do Dependency Injection and we'll be getting somewhere.
