The "Emperor's new propaganda" (entirely done by others and passed along) is the "projection" of many persons' secret fantasies and also their need to blame others (which he does relentlessly for anyone not himself) for their own weaknesses, fears and failures. It's a complete con job, but primed 24 by 7 by 365 by media lies and distortions. It's a very closed circle, like a cult. The con? To get people to act in their own worst interests (You wanted war and tariffs?) by playing on their weaknesses.
