I generally disbelieve in anti-features. You can just... not use the backlight! It's frustrating when people insist on a lack of features. There's no practical downside to backlights being an option.
- efskap 1mo agoIt's an additional layer on top of the eink that has to diffuse light from the side. It's bound to reduce contrast at least a little
