I suppose this disproves Tufte's "There are only two industries that call their customers 'users': illegal drugs and software."
- drdeca 26d agoMost of the time someone uses a urinal, they didn’t purchase it. The customer is different from the user in this case.
- xyzelement 26d agoThat's often true in software as well. Perhaps it's actually the etymology of the term.
