- woodgala 28d agoMaybe you should have tried a Christian or conservative dating site? OKC was fabulously non normative.
- eru 28d agoThey seemed plenty 'normative' to me, in the sense of professing strong opinions on eg 'I would never date a Tory voter'.
- woodgala 27d agoI didn’t know OKC was international. Duh. Of course it is! Where I live in the 2010s you could be pansexual or poly. That was unique for dating sites. At least in the US.
- gfrecvh 28d agoCould it be argued that people were cynical about different things? I think a lot of culture is just people uncritically repeating ideas theyve heard.
- ranger_danger 28d agoI agree... it's very easy to have strong opinions about things you are sheltered from the consequences of. And strong feelings about issues do not emerge from deep understanding.
- eru 28d agoWas she in favour or against neoliberalism?
