- woodgala 1mo agoMaybe you should have tried a Christian or conservative dating site? OKC was fabulously non normative.
- eru 1mo agoThey seemed plenty 'normative' to me, in the sense of professing strong opinions on eg 'I would never date a Tory voter'.
- woodgala 1mo agoI didn’t know OKC was international. Duh. Of course it is! Where I live in the 2010s you could be pansexual or poly. That was unique for dating sites. At least in the US.
- gfrecvh 1mo agoCould it be argued that people were cynical about different things? I think a lot of culture is just people uncritically repeating ideas theyve heard.
- ranger_danger 1mo agoI agree... it's very easy to have strong opinions about things you are sheltered from the consequences of. And strong feelings about issues do not emerge from deep understanding.
- eru 1mo agoWas she in favour or against neoliberalism?
