  From the early comments, no wonder the lead maintainer resigned. Great job Asahi! Reverse engineering someone elses proprietary hardware and drivers is amazing work!

  It will be a while before it fully matures and stabilizes. I am on M1 Air and it still manages to crash like once a month, unfortunately, and I still can't use my external DP display—despite experimental support for it sitting in dev branch for 9 months now. As much as I'd love to use MacBook for Linux going forward, I am afraid that without Apple's full commitment, this will always be a risky game to play.
