Twitter is different there's many stories that are only there.
- someonebaggy 1mo agoSwitching torrent sites every time one gets taken down. But why wouldn't you?
- papyrus9244 1mo ago> Isn't 1337x and others better and offer a complete alternative? The best way is always private trackers. They're easy to get into, easy to keep (if you're a serious and honest person), malware free, high quality content, great community, etc.
- troupo 1mo ago> The best way is always private trackers. They're easy to get into If they were easy to get into, they wouldn't be good
- papyrus9244 1mo agoIt's as easy as buying 1 month of seedbox for around 10 bucks.
- troupo 1mo agoBuying a seedbox doesn't get you into a private tracker. It's a download client.
- mitxela 1mo agomid tier trackers partner with seedbox providers who give them kickbacks for referrals, in exchange for an account
- troupo 1mo agoSo. Easy to get into is: "some unspecified mid-tier trackers may or may not give out accounts to some unspecified seedbox providers". It's probably easier to lurk in r/trackerinvites (or whatever it's called) hoping to snatch an invite
- mitxela 1mo agoYep it's not easy. Easy was a lie. The best are actually curated public trackers. TPB is not curated.
- troupo 1mo agoSadly, curated public ones are also harder and harder to find (for obvious reasons) :(
- Gander5739 1mo agoRutracker's a good one.
- troupo 1mo agoIt's amazing how it held up over 20-ish years. You'd think it would only get worse after removing mandatory registration 10 or so years ago. And yet...
- Gander5739 1mo agoWell, you need an account to search.
- papyrus9244 1mo ago> It's probably easier to lurk in r/trackerinvites (or whatever it's called) hoping to snatch an invite I think it's much easier to pay 12 bucks for a month of seedbox that includes an invite to TL, than to hit F5 on /r/OpenSignups for months/years until they open registration.
