- Gibbon1 28d agoPeople are working on solid state batteries which puts you at 500-600 wh/kg. For cars the economics is a dicey proposition. Because $/wh is important. The extra range (dubious) or lower weight has to cover the cost difference. But for electric aircraft there is a lot to be gained by weight savings.
