i’ve just looked, apparently it’s super easy and basically transparent to switch to bitwarden. it apparently imports the password vaults painlessly. i’ll check it out tonight and if it is that easy, it’ll be my new rec for people.

    You'll have to add some actual reasoning to this, I switched from 1password to locally hosted Bitwarden(Vaultwarden) 6 months ago and I don't miss anything.

      Does Bitward have anything like 1Password's "Travel Mode" where you can hide specific vaults, for when crossing less-privacy-friendly borders? Also, is it possible to share credentials with a link/URL? These two features ended up being much more useful than I thought when they first launched, and looking at Bitward I don't see anything like those things.

        You can share credentials I do with my wife. Not sure you can hide vaults though. I never used that on 1password.
