Somewhat agree with the author, but I make the big tasks calendar events or put them on their own context list (ie "edit paper" is not on my office list, but my "research" next action list). The idea with GTD is to choose the best next task, not just hammer them out mindlessly, so I think the author misunderstands GTD.
