Are people in your company moderately technical? If so, I highly recommend https://www.passwordstore.org/ https://www.passwordstore.org/ coupled with a PGP key storage dongle (I personally use NitroKey). Then hosting is just a matter of hosting a minuscule git repo per user.
I imagine that a technical company can easily whip up a bespoke simplified interface for its non-technical staff too.
I've used it for about a decade at this point, and it's just perfect.
- ngrislain 1mo agoI have been using https://www.passwordstore.org/ https://www.passwordstore.org/ for 10 years and am super happy with it. It does not provide all the convenient integrations of 1Password though.

- 0xbadcafebee 1mo agoUnfortunately most of our staff are non-technical, so it might be okay for a backend component, but the frontend users need lots of friendly GUIs, documentation, and integration into other apps (browsers primarily)
