Honestly, I really appreciate this comment! I am quite a fan of LLMs for coding, learning, brainstorming, etc. But I’m also a musician, against AI slop media (who isn’t?) and of course most of the other negatives you cited. It’s not like I’ve never heard the points you mentioned before, but I think you did a great job of assembling these ideas and presenting them in a sensible way… it’s legitimately made me far more empathetic to the AI haters and perhaps has even tempered my near-term optimism about AI. I say near-term because I’m not so optimistic about AI in the medium- or long-term. And the short term may well be tiny.
