What are the error rates for a human experienced/trained in spotting mushrooms?

- eptcyka 29d agoI never touch a mushroom I am not 100% certain is safe. So far I’ve had a 100% success rate in not poisoning myself or others. Wouldn’t recommend trusting an LLM either.
- matusp 29d agoMushroom pickers generally know only a handful of easy to distinguish types and only pick those. I would say that 99.9% of pickers will never get poisoned.
