Considering the Netherlands’ strategic ties with the US, this sounds like quite a bold move. France doing so was one thing, but the Dutchs have always been rather Atlanticists.
- Deukhoofd 24d agoFor what it's worth, the Dutch Central Bank argues that this is simply because it'd be easier to sell in London in a crisis situation.
