For what it's worth, I use Firefox for 10+ years now for web development, and in my opinion their tooling is actually superior to Chrome. Small example: if I just want to test visual responsiveness of a page at different breakpoints, Firefox lets me close the bottom toolbar and just play around with the top window. In Chrome I need to keep the bottom toolbar open the whole time, cluttering my screen, because if I close it the whole devtools closes too.
