- convnet 1mo agoHe is saying that the Jewish organizations are helping to identify antisemitic hate speech on the platform. You presenting it as "Jewish organizations telling TikTok who to ban" is just straight up the classic "Jews control the media" trope.
- slowin 1mo agoNo he says exactly what I put in the headline. That over two dozen Jewish organizations are feeding them "intelligence" and information on who to ban. In the longer YouTube clip I posted you can see where he says they're banning anyone who uses Zionist in a negative light (not antisemitic!). Please try to argue in good faith.

- jst1fthsdys 1mo agoSo now you can't even dislike or be critical of an ideology that not all jews believe without being an antisemite? That just increases real antisemitism.
- nozzlegear 1mo agoYou can do whatever you want, I don't give a shit. Just know that when you say "I hate zionists" or "zionism must be ended" or whatever the kids say these days, it sounds pretty damn dogwhistley.
- NewJazz 1mo ago170 jewish artists felt the need to explicitly disagree with pretty much this exact sentiment. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2026/sep/01/jewish-artist-support-mark-ruffalo-antisemitism https://www.theguardian.com/film/2026/sep/01/jewish-artist-s...
- nozzlegear 1mo agoCMD+F "zionism": 0 results found. You'll have to explain how your article is linked to what I said.
- jst1fthsdys 1mo agoThanks for your deep insight into this. I’ll be sure to take it into consideration. Btw do you have any signed copies of your Shopify book?
- nozzlegear 1mo agoBuy one and find out my friend ;)
- slowin 1mo agoZionism is real, it's not a "dog whistle". If you want to support Israel, you should own that position. The human rights violations that Israel has and continues to commit, are going to attract very legitimate criticism and the ideology behind it will be named.
- nozzlegear 1mo agoSure, but that's orthogonal to what I said. It's still used like a dogwhistle.
- slowin 1mo agoI've only ever seen it used in the context that I said, critiquing Zionism.
- nozzlegear 1mo agoThen I'd encourage you to read into the subtext of what's being said by people who bring it up on TikTok, and why it's gotten to the point that people might consider it a dogwhistle at all. I don't think you're so naive that you believe all, or even the majority of discussion of Zionism on TikTok is healthy debate and critique.
- slowin 1mo agoAll I see are people reacting as expected to a genocidal apartheid state (outrage, anger). As you can see from the OP, TikTok is now censoring that as much as they can. Prior to the censorship, TikTok was actually a good place for people to get educated about what Israel was actually doing.
