That article and your memory glosses over the fact that Apple redesigned the antenna to fix the actual problem in later devices - the antenna was changed in the Verizon iPhone 4 (which came out later), as well as the iPhone 4S and all subsequent models.
- detourdog 25d agoNo where did I say the phone didn’t need a redesigned antenna. Just that as shipped it did function.
