Wow, this is truly absurd. Just the other day an article at theatlantic.com was posted here (http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4935679 http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4935679) and it was advocating exactly this kind of constitutional circumvention behavior. I think this is the business model devaluing the product. "the Atlantic" both in name and typography wants to evoke a newspaper, but the internet broke the model that allowed newspapers to do real journalism.
