I take some comfort from the one that says "as a Christian, I have been talking to AI about my problems instead of finding time for God" - goes to show we've been very nutty for a long time, and actually - compared to taking advice from magic sky man, talking to an AI is downright rational.
- altmanaltman 1mo agoNot if they do not change their relationship and see AI as god. Then it is still just as irrational except you now actually have your god 24x7 available and talk back to you. Imo that sounds much more insane and prone to hallucinations than just passively requesting god for things.
