How many hours of very intentional travel did it take you to find someplace on earth where you could find yourself in that situation? I have no intention of doing that. I'm not an explorer. I don't own a boat that is both big enough to travel that far, but small enough not to have satellite internet. I own approximately zero pith helmets and know zero sherpas.
