What a bummer. The state of this is a joke. (Hunting for Open-Wrt compatible router and found this comment.) Uhg!! Also apparently a router of mine has siblings with published CVEs and the slopbots (I’m not a networking guy) figure there’s no reason mine wouldn’t be similarly compromised, but obviously a bad “source” of information. Suppose it fit my uneducated sniff test of “the Japanese version is compromised, why not the North American version“ though. [@CISA @NSA hello? Banning products but no mandate for “consumer router ‘antimalware’”?] :) Maybe The Powers That Be are working on this behind the scenes, I’m gonna go with that.
