I haven't tried this new app, but Windows Task Manager has always had the ability to pause. Hold down Ctrl and it'll pause updates. You can also set the update

I haven't tried this new app, but Windows Task Manager has always had the ability to pause. Hold down Ctrl and it'll pause updates. You can also set the update frequency to Paused.
