Do you know how hard it is to convincingly fabricate economic data? The BLS is under constant public scrutiny. If data fabrication were occurring at the level you seem to think, everybody would know.
- inigyou 1mo agoIs it convincing? "Everyone" does "know" it's fake, as in the example you replied to, that's an instance of everyone knowing it's fake.
- emp17344 1mo agoAre you citing your own uninformed statement to support your claim?
- inigyou 1mo agoYou're saying "if it was fake, everyone would know it" yet you've now been presented with two members of "everyone" who do indeed "know it". How many do you have to see before you accept that "everyone knows it".
- emp17344 1mo agoI’m talking about the community of economists, not internet randos who quite clearly know nothing about reporting economic data.
