- woodpanel 1mo agoAccording to that, they provided services to the guys that cut off parts of Berlin from the power grid, that caused 1 fatality. IANAL but the common understanding of the situation would be: You can't as an ISP prevent malicious actors from using your service, but you do can assist the government - in this case the German - to hand over the data to help assist law enforcement. If state-department's claims are true, did noblogs.org do so?
- amarcheschi 1mo agoIn italy they were even arrested but always cleared of what they were accused. I don't believe the US gov did a better job investigating them either
- inigyou 28d agoThe US is the one making the accusation, and I guarantee that they didn't assist the US. The digital markets act makes liability pretty clear. Basically a takedown notice law.
