No. Oh my god no.
This is just engineers coping with the reality that they've been filtered by skillchecks of a system they do not (yet) understand. But instead of doing the engineering thing and starting to understand said system, fox and grapes gets deployed.
Which isn't to say that there would be zero examples of what you describe, but the jump to "all are like this" is crazy, and, more importantly, anti-intellectual.

- ThrowawayR2 1mo agoRelax and enjoy the circus, dude. This is the reality of the tech profession as it is today and all we can do is laugh and tighten our hiring practices.
