this reminds me of another article written a little while ago http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2012-11-18/how-airport-security-is-killing-us http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2012-11-18/how-airport-... which discussed how it is incredibly less safe to drive than to fly (even with terrorist attacks) and that the increased security of the TSA is making more people drive instead, which has caused a lot more accidents and deaths because of it. both interesting.
