  Which previous explanation did I ignore? The only one I saw upon review was > Extrapolation of the extreme AI progress we have seen in the last few years. I don’t think that’s a viable extrapolation hence my mockery about a 3 month old being trillions of pounds by the time they were 10 years old. If there was another explanation please let me know so I can evaluate it.

    > AI is not limited to the rigid construction plan of an organism. A model also doesn't have to fit inside a small skull or be limited to the daily energy intake of a human.

      That is not an explanation of how this technology won’t follow an S curve and can just be extrapolated out for infinite growth

        The growth is not infinite. It will stop at technological maturity, with the maximum intelligence allowed by the laws of physics.
