A reminder:
Neither visa nor MasterCard networks have the ability to verify cardholder name.
Everyone behaves as if they do, but your name cannot be verified.
Which is to say, all of these cards have name anonymization, not just robinhood.

- peddling-brink 1mo agoAccording to wikipedia, AVS only verifies the numeric portion of an address. Vendors like Stripe may do more than Visa/MC though.
- zackwu 1mo agoyeah I found it out a while back and since then I've been using randomly generated names during checkout every time - no issues ever
