- lbriner 2mo ago"Yeah but they would say that, they are part of the system" Sadly, there is no way to counter a conspiracy theorist because if you question or counter then you are just part of the conspiracy too. Governments know that they need to do stuff but they also know that ignorant voters who read trash tabloid newspapers will vote them out next time because they might have to pay a little more for their electricity or cars.

- ColdStream 2mo agoThe US Military hit it right on the head. Climate change is a risk multiplier. It takes already potentially big issues and makes them so much worse.

- Forgeties79 2mo agoSay what you want about the military, I think most of the adults in the room, however many are left, are simply treating the threat is real even if they won’t explicitly say it. Doesn’t mean there isn’t a chilling effect, but also, not everybody is the DEI hire Hegseth.
