It seems odd to blame lobbying (which you could also "rule of the universe" out of existence by saying everyone lobbies to some extent) when you seem to actually be blaming EU governments for being so hostile to SMBs.
- bluegatty 2mo agoAll regulations favour some groups more than others. Exempting small business could easily be viewed as hostile / corrupt regulation disfavouring large entities. These kinds of regulations are usually not even welcome by larger companies, but there is less pushback. 'packaging' isn't the place to use the c-word.
- dragochat 2mo agomakes perfect sense bc in a world ruled by big corpos, govs are captured and work in their interests, so they become hostile to SMBs. > Exempting small business could easily be viewed as hostile / corrupt regulation disfavouring large entities. then let's PLEASE have MORE of these "corrupt" and "hostile" regulations, it's clear that in a more and more chaotic global economy only a swarm of small players can change direction fast enough, with some support from big corpos providing economies of scale only in selected sectors (energy, resources extraction, hardware, AI deployment/inference optimizations, healthcare and just a few others)
- dragochat 2mo agogovs are hostile to SMBs as a result of lobbying
