- johnnudd 2mo agoThe British and German governments pay for the healthcare of their pensioners living in Spain via intergovernmental reimbursement agreements so the healthcare expense to Spain is in fact zero. They also provide a significant economic net benefit to Spain by injecting billions in "imported wealth" through real estate taxes, year-round consumption, and foreign-funded pensions.
