- edelbitter 1mo agoThe max-records-per-type=100 default was added in 9.18.28+ (and backported), because exceeding 100 was seldomly used and slow: https://kb.isc.org/docs/cve-2024-1737 https://kb.isc.org/docs/cve-2024-1737 Besides clarifying relationship between domain control and service provider accounts, TXT records at the apex are in common use in the SPF method for authorizing mail senders.
