I love the line that Chin wants to influence Canada on the same day as US puts demands for having controls over Canadian trade deals.
- YZF 1mo agoWell, you should know that members of the EU are not free to make their own trade deals either. I am looking for the same model as the EU where we have a common market. I don't want the US to tell me what to do but Canada making other trade deals does impact the US, e.g. if Canada were to import cheap cars from China without tariffs that would impact how many cars the US exports to Canada. Why is this not open to discussion? And sure, we disagreed and the trade deal was not signed, and we'll get back to it.
