People should take bible literally. And the difficult parts of it should be prayed for to God. And yes we should discuss the difficult matters with other Christians. Lot of things mentioned in the Bible are hard and may make one's heart tremble because we dont want to disappoint God. But that feeling is actually a good thing. This feeling I think is the sign that we are transforming into Christ. It gives you something to pray to God and ask for His grace and patiently wait for His answer. Don't give much thought to what people believe in or not because it is between them and God. It's God's grace that matters between God and me. Be more Christlike is the best advice for any Christian.
