- inigyou 2mo agoBecause if you want people to use a thing you have to make it appealing. Otherwise they won't.

- ygjb 2mo agoThat might have been the case two years ago, but there is no shortage of decent open source solutions that meet or exceed most business use cases. I am sure some enterprising consulting firm will come along and offer integration of those + Canada located inference infra + OSS models (Chinese, or otherwise). I know that there is at least one Canadian inference provider, Augure, but I haven't tried them yet, as well as a few actual model developers in Canada.
