You must live in a place where the electricity bill “service charges” haven’t been raised as a cause of new data centers. In Houston, the service charges have gone up 50 percent in the last 2 years. My bill in the summer jumped from $200 a month to $300.
- dzhiurgis 1mo agoSomething in like 90% cases the bills went down. Datacenters are perfect power users. Prices have been going up for years because of net metering. In california apparently its first year when prices didn’t go up!
