I read through the project, and I like the idea. Git-reattribute looks especially useful for cleaning up commit attribution without manually rewriting commits one by one. The interactive approach makes a potentially risky Git task much easier to manage.
- drk1rd 2mo agothanks! yeah, the interactive flow was really about making the git-filter-repo invocation itself disappear — most of the actual work (backup ref, verification, --force-with-lease instead of --force) is just trying to make sure a "potentially risky" task doesn't also become an unrecoverable one.
