What also changed is bands don’t sell records any more. You got to pay the bills somehow.
- frollogaston 1mo agoMusic piracy really did a number. People like to blame cheap streaming, but it's only cheap because the market knows it can't charge very much before people pirate instead. A CD album was about $18 in the early 2000s, so $32 today.
