When several supply-chain attacks hit the npm ecosystem a few months ago, I built SBE: https://github.com/tyrchen/sbe https://github.com/tyrchen/sbe. It provides sandboxing for arbitrary CLI commands using Seatbelt / SBPL on macOS and Landlock LSM + seccomp-bpf on Linux.
