- xienze 2mo agoYes but, should you have to do that is the question. There's a standard, and CLAUDE.md isn't it.
- kstenerud 2mo agoFor me it's very handy to have agent-specific instructions. Each harness does it differently and with differing levels of annoyance: - .cursor/rules - CLAUDE.md - .github/copilot-instructions.md - .aider.conf.yml - .gemini/settings.json A simple @AGENTS.md at the top of CLAUDE.md makes it play nice.
- usef- 2mo agoI just have one as a symlink to the other. Seems to work, and doesn't need an extra tool call.
