  They ask you to create one if you want to save your settings or something. You don't have to go through with it. But the software does suck big time. The other day it didn't start on my machine because reasons. Had to remove it and reinstall it. Which had to remove my configuration, but whatever. Then, installation somehow went to 101%. But hey, at least it worked.
