All of the DC designs I've worked on the last few years have all included heat absorption chillers driven by engine exhaust (for reciprocating engine power plants) and HRSGs with steam driven chillers for the turbine power plants.
- MengerSponge 2mo agoI'd love to be wrong, but I fear I'm not: https://www.wired.com/story/real-reason-data-center-gas-power-plants-are-so-dirty/ https://www.wired.com/story/real-reason-data-center-gas-powe... It's absurd, cruel, and criminal that any hyperscalers are using fossil fuels of any kind, much less simple cycle turbines.
