Status pages for large companies are social, political and legal tools, and not technical indicators. It has always been this way, and likely always will unless some laws were passed.

- esseph 2mo agoYes, laws, regulations. They're fucking useful tools of curbing shitty but not yet illegal behavior that is at BEST a dishonest attempt to avoid contractual accountability. Yes, a fucking law. Maybe a whole set of them!
