- rkowalick 2mo agoFIS was the text for my first “real” mathematics class and it is near and dear to me. I ended up getting a math PhD so it must have done somethings right!
- ksd482 2mo agoYes, it was absolutely great! It's a good mix of theory and computation. Since it doesn't neglect computation, it's great as an introductory text. After that, and some other math courses you can move on to Linear Algebra Done Right.
