The businesses don't get the money. They must give 100% of it to the staff by law. Management doesn't care and would probably prefer a machine that isn't customer-hostile by asking for a tip in a circumstance where no tip is expected.
- danaris 2mo agoYeah? "By law?" They also must pay their employees overtime "by law". And not require them to work when clocked out "by law". And give them a certain amount of breaks "by law".
