Are there any mechanically coupled solutions that can be field installed by the owner?
- flir 2mo agoSwytch Bike is one. Hub motor.
- andrewshadura 2mo agoThere's a bunch of motors installable instead of the bottom bracket. E.g. from Bafang. You just connect it to a battery and that's it. The controller's inbuilt.
- MisterTea 2mo agoThank you. Amusingly the Bafang kit is unable to be shipped to NY or so Amazon says. I'll have to do a bit of research but this is a good starting point.
